Cahuenga Peak Television and Motion Picture Transactions is a New Orleans based Law Firm currently in startup mode. We will offer a wide variety of services, including Contracts and Contract Review (Representation Agreements, Deal Memos, Actor Employment Agreements, TV/Movie Rights licenses and much more), Negotiations, Client Representation, and Notary Services. Rachel Hurd, Senior Counsel and CEO, is a lawyer in New Orleans. Rachel started her service to the public over 20 years ago as a Police Officer. Rachel’s tenure as an Attorney began in 2015 in Felony Trials at the Orleans Parish DA’s Office, where she was able to hone her litigation skills, and currently serves as a Division Chief and Assistant District Attorney. Rachel is also on the ADA Board of the Louisiana District Attorney’s Association (LDAA). She is a member of the New Orleans FIlm Society and the Louisiana Bar Association. She attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and received her Juris Doctorate in 2014. She is currently at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) pursuing a graduate certificate in the Business and Management of Entertainment. Importantly, she makes that hike to Cahuenga Peak…and beyond (IYKYK) at least once a year. She loves NYC in the winter. She’s big on family. Very big. (Hi Mom, Dad, Danny, and Jenn!) Rachel is fair and impartial, and always seeks justice; that is, making sure the RIGHT THING happens. Each and every time.
